
Elluminate for Students
Preparing your Computer
- Check to see that your computer meets the minimum operating system requirements.
- Visit the Elluminate Support site (checks your computer for necessary components).
- Ask your instructor if you will need to install any other software to read documents or to access other multi-media components during your Elluminate session. For instance, you might need:
Learning to use Elluminate
- Review some orientation materials published by Elluminate; there are slide shows, animated demonstrations, and PDFs that are very useful
Accessing Elluminate
- Determine the type of Elluminate session in which you will participate because accessing the session will vary accordingly.
- Once you’re in your Elluminate session, be sure to run the Audio Setup Wizard; this assures that you will be heard by other participants.
- Log in early (15-30 minutes) so there is plenty of time for you to load Elluminate and supporting programs; also, you will want to run the audio wizard before class begins so your microphone is at optimal performance levels
- Accessing recordings of Elluminate sessions varies by session type as well.
- Meetings: To view a recording an Elluminate meeting, you must ask your instructor to send you a link to the recording.
- Classes: You may log in and access recorded sessions at any time. View a demonstration on how to access recorded Elluminate class sessions.

- If you need to to access a recorded Elluminate session, you will need to obtain the link to the recorded session from your instructor view a demonstration about how to access it.
