Learning to use Elluminate

  • Review some orientation materials published by Elluminate; there are slide shows, animated demonstrations, and PDFs that are very useful

Accessing Elluminate

  • Determine the type of Elluminate session in which you will participate because accessing the session will vary accordingly.
  • Once you’re in your Elluminate session, be sure to run the Audio Setup Wizard; this assures that you will be heard by other participants.
  • Log in early (15-30 minutes) so there is plenty of time for you to load Elluminate and supporting programs; also, you will want to run the audio wizard before class begins so your microphone is at optimal performance levels
  • Accessing recordings of Elluminate sessions varies by session type as well.
    • Meetings: To view a recording an Elluminate meeting, you must ask your instructor to send you a link to the recording.
